**BEWARE OF RANSOM SCAM**

Two incidents of the ransom scam were recently reported to the WPD. Please see the attached Press Release with the details and tips on what to do if you receive this type of Scam Call.

Please see the attached press release on a Sex Abuse Investigation and Arrest of a 15-year-old male suspect. There is a possibility that there may be other juvenile victims in the Pacific Rim Neighborhood in southeast Warrenton.

THIS IS A NOTICE OF CONTRACT AWARD

Responses were evaluated according to the criteria stated in the solicitation.  Today the City of Warrenton announces the bid award contract to Bergerson Construction in the bid amount of $748,560.00 base bid and additive bids for the Hammond Dredge Project-2019

The Warrenton City Commission will hold a special meeting on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at 3:30 p.m.  The purpose of the meeting is to approve a Project Management contract for the Hammond Marina Dredge Project, and to adopt Resolution No. 2551; Assessing the Costs of Nuisance Abatement at 1180 S. Main and Entering the Same on the Docket of City Liens. The meeting location is Warrenton City Hall, Commission Chambers, 225 S. Main, Warrenton, Oregon.
