Short Term Rentals & Homestay Lodging

The City of Warrenton’s purpose in regulating vacation rentals and homestay lodging is to allow for economic opportunity for local homeowners by renting underutilized bedrooms in dwellings, while preserving existing housing and rental stock for residents of the community. The license process ensures that facilities are appropriately located, meet zoning requirements, adhere to safety regulations, and do not reduce the number of potential long-term housing units. 

The City of Warrenton is seeking a part-time library aide to assist with children's services.  Applicant must be a high school graduate.  Duties will include, but are not limited to: planning story times, planning summer reading activities and  attending monthly meetings.  For questions, please contact the Library at 503-861-8156.

City of Warrenton offices will be closed Thursday, November 22 & Friday, November 23, 2018 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Offices will reopen on Monday, November 26, 2018. 

The Warrenton City Commission and the Planning Commission will hold a Joint Work Session on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 4:30 p.m.  The purpose of the meeting is to discuss planning and development issues. The meeting location is Warrenton City Hall, Commission Chambers, 225 S. Main, Warrenton, Oregon.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Warrenton is seeking proposals from qualified agencies for Insurance Agent Services. 

The request for proposal documents are available from the City of Warrenton, Finance Department, 225 S Main Ave., PO Box 250, Warrenton, OR  97146, (503)861-2233 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time, or can be found at the link below. 

The Warrenton Urban Renewal Agency will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at 1:30 p.m.  The purpose of the meeting is to conduct possible real property transactions. The meeting location is Warrenton City Hall, Commission Chambers, 225 S. Main, Warrenton, Oregon.

Warrenton City Hall is accessible to the disabled.  An interpreter for the hearing impaired may be requested under the terms of ORS 192.630 by contacting the City Recorder, at 503-861-2233 at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting so appropriate assistance can be provided.
