Notice of Budget Committee Meeting
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Warrenton, Clatsop County, State of Oregon,
to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, will be held at Warrenton
City Hall.  The meeting will take place on the 9th day of May, 2019 at 5:30 p.m.  The purpose of
the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. 
A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 26, 2019 at Warrenton

Countywide Citizen Police Academy Announced - WPD Participating

The 2019 Citizen Police Academy has been announced and applications are being accepted. This will be the second year that the academy utilizes officers from all law enforcement agencies in the county to instruct citizens on different aspects of law enforcement. The Academy will start on Tuesday April 16th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Seaside Police Department. The Academy will run every week for the next 10 weeks at various agency locations with an added Saturday (May 18th) for firearms training.

Short Term Rentals & Homestay Lodging

The City of Warrenton’s purpose in regulating vacation rentals and homestay lodging is to allow for economic opportunity for local homeowners by renting underutilized bedrooms in dwellings, while preserving existing housing and rental stock for residents of the community. The license process ensures that facilities are appropriately located, meet zoning requirements, adhere to safety regulations, and do not reduce the number of potential long-term housing units. 

Library Aide

The City of Warrenton is seeking a part-time library aide to assist with children's services.  Applicant must be a high school graduate.  Duties will include, but are not limited to: planning story times, planning summer reading activities and  attending monthly meetings.  For questions, please contact the Library at 503-861-8156.

City of Warrenton offices will be closed Thursday, November 22 & Friday, November 23, 2018 in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Offices will reopen on Monday, November 26, 2018.
