Warrenton, OR – The Warrenton Police Department is now carrying Naloxone (Narcan) overdose kits in each vehicle and becomes the first department in Clatsop County to equip patrol officers with the life-saving drug. An additional kit is located at the station in the evidence processing area adjacent to the evidence room. Naloxone is an opioid antagonist used to reverse the effects of opiates such as heroin, morphine, oxycodone, and fentanyl overdoses.

The Warrenton Marina will have a closed bid auction for all of the posted boats for sale.  The bidding is open until November 30, 2017. For more information, please contact the Warrenton Marina office at 503-861-3822.

WARRENTON COMMUNITY LIBRARY BOARD

EMERGENCY MEETING – 10/02/17

The Warrenton Community Library Board will hold an emergency meeting at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2017, to discuss the Library levy. The meeting location is at Warrenton City Hall, Commission Chambers, 225 S. Main, Warrenton, Oregon. Community Board meetings are open to the public.

                                                                      PUBLIC NOTICE

A quorum of the Warrenton City Commission will be present at the County Commission Work Session, to discuss the possible conversion of the North Coast Youth Correctional Facility to a Clatsop County Jail. The Work Session is scheduled for September 27th, beginning at 5:00 p.m., at the Boyington Building, 857 Commercial Street in Astoria. No action by the Warrenton City Commission is anticipated.

                 JOINT WORK SESSION

The Warrenton City Commission will hold a joint work session with the Skipanon Water Control District Board, beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017. The purpose of the work session is to discuss the 8th Street Flood Control Structure. The meeting location is Warrenton City Hall, Commission Chambers, 225 S. Main, Warrenton, Oregon. Work Sessions are open to the public; however no public comment will be taken.

The September 14, 2017 Planning Commission meeting has been cancelled due to a lack of a quorum.
