Hammond Marina Viewpoint Closure

Due to winter storm damage and erosion, the viewpoint parking area at Seafarer's Park (in Hammond marina) will remain closed until repairs can be made. This closure is necessary for the public's safety. Please respect the road closure barricades. Thank you.

Limited Garbage Service - January 16, 2024

City of Warrenton is resuming limited garbage service today. Please keep your can out on the curb until our garbage trucks are able to get to your route. Thank you! 

 

Holiday Closure - Martin Luther King Day

City offices will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024 for observance of the Martin Luther King day. City offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 16th.

Holiday Closure - New Years Day

City of Warrenton offices will be closed Monday, January 1st in observance of the New Year holiday. 

 

 

 

UPDATE on Road Closure - SE Dolphin is reopened

**Update - SE Dolphin has been reopened.

Due to a failed culvert, Warrenton Public Works department is closing SE Dolphin, starting north of Warrior Way, to south of the ODOT Maintenance Yard driveway. We anticipate this to be a one day shut down for emergency repairs to stabilize the road. Detour routes will be Warrior Way to Bugle Avenue, and Perkins Lane to Dolphin.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Memorial Service for John Sleutel

A Memorial Service for Active Duty Warrenton Volunteer Firefighter John Sleutel is scheduled for December 9th, 1pm at the Warrenton Middle School.

All in the community are invited to pay their respects. Reception to follow immediately after the ceremony in the Warrenton Middle School Cafeteria.

Donations of finger foods and desserts are welcome for the reception. Please drop them off no later than 11:00am on Saturday, December 9th to the Middle School cafeteria.

Public Notice - Possible Quorum

A quorum of the Warrenton City Commission may be present at a property inspection of City property. The inspection is scheduled for November 30th at 2:00 p.m., at 60 NE Iredale Avenue, Warrenton, Oregon. No action by the Warrenton City Commission is anticipated.
