The City of Warrenton Budget Committee will hold a public hearing in order to receive public comment on the possible uses of state shared revenues.  The hearing will take place on Saturday, May 18^th, 2024 at 9:00am at Warrenton City Hall Commission Chambers, 225 S Main Avenue, Warrenton, OR  97146.   If you would like to provide public comment for this hearing, without appearing in person, please contact Dawne Shaw, at

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Warrenton, Clatsop County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, will be held at the Warrenton City Hall Commission Chambers, 225 S Main Avenue, Warrenton. The meeting will take place on the 18th day of May, 2024 at 9:00am

The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2024 Clatsop County Police Citizen's Academy. The academy will run from April 22nd to June 17th. Classes will be held at the various law enforcement facilities in Clatsop County and will cover crime scenes, criminal investigations, Tasers, firearms, jails, prosecuting cases, and many other topics. The classes are all instructed by members from all of the public safety agencies.

ATTENTION!! If you currently have a storage unit at Fisherman's Storage, i.e. America's Best Storage, at 60 NE Iredale, you must claim your storage unit with your contact information supplied to the City of Warrenton no later than April 30, 2024. Failure to do so will result in a lien on the property inside the unit for unpaid monthly storage rental fees to the City of Warrenton, and may result in the property being put up for auction at a later date.

City offices will be closed on Monday, February 19, 2024, in observance of President's Day. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, February 20, 2022. Regular garbage service will not be affected.

Due to winter storm damage and erosion, the viewpoint parking area at Seafarer's Park (in Hammond marina) will remain closed until repairs can be made. This closure is necessary for the public's safety. Please respect the road closure barricades. Thank you.

City of Warrenton is resuming limited garbage service today. Please keep your can out on the curb until our garbage trucks are able to get to your route. Thank you! 

City offices will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024 for observance of the Martin Luther King day. City offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 16th.

City of Warrenton offices will be closed Monday, January 1st in observance of the New Year holiday.
