Town Hall FEMA Bi-Op Handouts

Attached is the presentation handout, and the form letters from the October 28th Mayor's Town Hall at the Warrenton High School, regarding FEMA's Pre-Compliance Implementation Measures (PICM) and impacts to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). The Mayor encourages concerned citizens to print out and mail the attached form letters to Governor Kotek and our Congressional Delegation.

A quorum of the Warrenton City Commission may be present at the Mayor’s Town Hall Meeting, scheduled for October 28th beginning at 6:00 p.m., at the Warrenton High School. No decisions will be made by Warrenton City Commission. For further details on the town hall, please visit the city website.

Request for Bids - Warrenton Marina E Dock Pile Replacement

INVITATION TO BID – WARRENTON MARINA IMPROVEMENT

Sealed bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM, local time, October 31, 2024 by Jessica McDonald, Harbormaster, at the Warrenton Marina Office 501 NE Harbor Place, Warrenton, OR 97146.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The intent of this contract is to replace 10 steel pilings along the Warrenton Marinas Commercial E Dock by the vibration method. The following is a brief summary of the major elements of work that are to be provided by the contractor

1. Replace 10 steel pilings that are 12 inches in diameter.

Clatsop County Burn Restrictions Lifted

The Oregon Department of Forestry ended Fire Season on October 16, 2024. Clatsop County Fire Defense Board also lifted the county wide burn ban. Please note, Warrenton residents will need a valid burn permit from the Warrenton Fire Department.

Public Notice – Warrenton Community Library Board

The Warrenton Community Library Board has rescheduled its meeting on October 9th to 12:00 pm, replacing the previously scheduled time of 5:30 pm.

Warrenton Community Library - Closed September 17, 2024

The Warrenton Community Library will be closed to the public on Tuesday, September 17th, for a staff in-service day. This closure allows us to better serve you by participating in important training and development activities.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to welcoming you back with refreshed energy on Wednesday, September 18th!

Public Notice – Warrenton Community Library Board

A quorum of the Warrenton Community Library Board may be present at a joint work session with the Seaside, Astoria, and Cannon Beach Library Boards. The joint work session is scheduled for September 10th at 5:30 pm at the Seaside Library.

Additionally, the Warrenton Community Library Board is postponing its upcoming board meeting (which was scheduled for September 11th at 5:30 pm). Instead, their next board meeting will be on October 9th at 5:30 pm.

Public Works Qualified Pool List

The City of Warrenton established a list of prospective consultants interested in providing Architectural, Engineering, Photogrammetric Mapping, Transportation Planning or Land Surveying Services or Related Services to the City.

In accordance with the City of Warrenton Public Contracting Rules and OAR 137-048-0120, consultants are engaged in the lawful practice of their profession and will provide the aforementioned services to the City. They have provided a statement describing their qualifications and related performance information. 

PUBLIC NOTICE - POSSIBLE QUORUM

A quorum of the Warrenton City Commission may be present at a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Safe Routes to School Project, Phase 1 completion. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for September 3rd, beginning at 11:00 a.m., at the intersection of S. Main Avenue and SW 9th, Warrenton, OR 97146. No action by the Warrenton City Commission is anticipated.
