In Oregon, North Oregon Coast and Central Oregon Coast. WHEN...From 10 AM to 2 PM PST Sunday. IMPACTS...Minor flooding, up to 1 foot above ground level, during high tides is expected in the low lying areas near bays, sloughs, and the lower reaches of the coastal rivers. ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The Sunday afternoon high tide at Toke Point is forecast to peak near 12.5 feet around noon.
We are going to attempt to collect residential carts as conditions allow. Please leave your carts out at the curb, and weather permitting, we will service as soon as we can. We plan to get your cart serviced by the end of the week depending on when and if the Astoria transfer station opens up.
Commercial/dumpster service is canceled for 12/28. We will attempt to take care of these missed services soon as it is safe to do so, conditions permitting. Please remember that dumpsters cannot be picked up if they are overflowing or have trash stacked against them.
All City offices will be closed on Friday, December 31, 2021 in observance of New Year's Day. Offices will reopen on Monday, January 3, 2022. Regular garbage service will not be affected. The City staff wish you a safe and happy New Year!
